Catherine was flying the flag for Team Harris as the engine for Tom’s tarmac car is still awaiting parts after the damage it incurred at the latter end of last season. She was debuting the new ‘tarmac special’ body too!
She had a good night at Birmingham, placing 5th in her heat, 10th in the final and 7th in the GN.
We went to Hednesford on the Sunday, a relatively new experience for Catherine as engine troubles had stopped her racing at this track for the previous 2 years. Her aim – to not be lapped 15 times – this was her memory of her last time racing here when she first started as a novice! She was always going to find this a difficult track to get into the top places because of it’s size, so we were very happy with her placing in the top 10 in 3 of her 4 races. She came home 9th in both heats, DNF in the final after being spun, and then 10th in the GN.
