Can We Make It 4 In A Row On The Loose Stuff???

By 31st May 2019 News No Comments

It’s been a good last few meetings of May for us of late, heat and final wins on the loose stuff at Northampton, Kings Lynn and Belle Vue last Monday. It started at Stoke end of April with the double, I’ve been going pretty well in most the Grand Nationals too scoring double points in the places and I’m sitting just behind Greenie in the points so far… Every time I get in Jamie’s Car’s we are there to win simple……I’ve picked a lot up with my racing for sure whilst dirt racing in the winter in the US. At faster speeds and the closer action, where one wrong wheel can see you cartwheel end over end.

Lots of people ask me how I’m driving so smooth at the moment and the answer is…. I just get in and do it.It’s coming very natural to me which is good as I’m pretty quick.  By racing the non wing and winged sprint cars in the US  it has slowed the stockers down a bit for me I think, meaning I can drive faster, smoother and see more gaps, take different lines around the shale ways reacting to things on track in front of me a lot earlier. I’m sure I’ll be a target…… for a few shale meetings for sure but let’s see ….. Can we make it 4 Shale meeting heat and finals in a row this weekend?? Mat Newson has been following me home 2nd too in most the finals I’ve won, a great comeback after his health scare only a few months back!!

Catherine has been scoring really well in the V8’s too doing the “Harris” name proud with final wins in her tarmac car. Luke has been doing well in Holland winning a few races over there and concentrating on just tarmac meetings. Over the speed weekend at Skegness Luke was in the top 3 a few times us both in the consolation where I could see him in my mirrors.  Courtney Witts had a couple of wins too for team Davidson in last years tarmac car driving well in all of her races. Also massive congratulations to Kyle Gray in my old THM tarmac car winning his first UK Open, again with a few wins himself over the Skegness weekender.

Lastly happy birthday to Jamie this week too, whom without his support  I wouldn’t be racing!!
